It was a number of years back when I was attending high school and purchased my 1st car...a 300ZX! I knew absolutely nothing about cars back then and failed to pay attention to the oil pressure reading at 0 psi, and when I did notice it, I just ignored it. The following day I was on the highway about 50 miles from my house and all of a sudden I hear - tickticktickticktick - boom! I look in the rearview mirror and see oil showering all the cars behind me on the busy I 65 highway. I pull over to see what was wrong and a connecting rod was sticking out of my oil pan - I had threw a rod after only owning it for exactly 24 hours. I have considerably wized up since then, after dissecting the engine and replacing it with a new one with the help of my dad. I know enough now about engines and Z's to be a mechanic. Boy, I learned a lot from that mistake
